This collective support and partnership creates lasting impact around the world, helping to provide lifesaving aid to women and families and providing vital resources for long-term community support.

Ways to give

As a member of the President’s Circle, your generosity empowers women and families all over the world to break the barriers they face and uplift their communities. Here are some other ways that you can create a lasting impact:

Support CARE via a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a type of giving fund administered by a third party that allows you to combine favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to easily support CARE. It is created to manage your charitable donations.

Contribute Stocks or Mutual Funds

CARE gladly accepts stock, mutual funds, and other securities. The most valuable gifts are undesignated and support CARE’s mission to defeat poverty.

Give from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA)

If you are 70 ½ or older, you can give any amount — up to a maximum of $100,000 — per year from your IRA directly to a qualified charity such as CARE without having to pay income taxes on the money. Since your gift doesn’t count as income, it can also help you save on taxes.

Leading with purpose: Shaping the future in Sierra Leone

Mabinty Thullay turned her entrepreneurial success into an opportunity to give back, becoming the first female teacher at her village’s primary school. Through a CARE Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA), she gained financial independence and leadership skills. Now, she’s using them to inspire the next generation of leaders in Sierra Leone.

How a chatbot supports women and girls in Poland
